Xipe Totec Danzantes Aztecas will host a traditional Mexica (Aztec) dance ceremony in honor of Cuauhtemoc, the 11th and last Aztec Emperor. Cuauhtemoc is a powerful symbol representing strength, honor, valor and pride. His spirit is venerated through sacred ritual dances that have been traditionally passed down through generations. This tradition, known as La Danza Azteca, is an ancient form of spiritual expression and prayer that involves dances that date from before the Spanish conquest.

We look forward to sharing our dances with the community.
