CARACOL MARKETPLACE is a unique bazaar-market where handmade crafts are sold by their makers once a month. It provides a venue for independent community based artists and artisans to promote, exhibit, barter and sell their work. Caracol Market place also promotes community health and wellness by offering free workshops on holistic healing, nutrition and healthy living. It happens every first Sunday of every month, spring through fall, at Tropico de Nopal Gallery Art-Space.
Caracol Marketplace goods range from handmade soaps and oils to herbal teas, plants, original printed t-shirts, sewn accessories, henna tattoo, art stickers, as well as freshly made vegetarian (and sometimes vegan) food.
