The Ernie G Scholarship Fund proudly presents Ernie G's Annual DREAM Act Comedy Jam and Latino Advocates Forum (L.A.F.) This annual event features top comedians along with an interactive panel discussion with four of the L.A. Latino community's most recognized and controversial personalities, all to raise awareness about the DREAM Act and other Latino issues and provide scholarships to DREAM Act Students.
Hosted by Ernie G – the Empowerment Comedian – this year's Comedy Jam includes stand-up performances by Juan Garcia ("The Bad Boys of Comedy" and "The Teens of Comedy") and Eric Schwartz ("LatinoLogues" & "Howard Stern 100").
Ernie G will then join syndicated cartoon artist, satirist and radio personality Lalo Alcaraz; OC Weekly editor, journalist, and author of "Ask a Mexican!" Gustavo Arellano; and founder and editor of LatinoLA.com Abelardo de la Pena Jr. as part of the Latino Advocates Forum (L.A.F.). They'll take on contemporary Latino issues, including the DREAM Act, immigration reform, cultural identity, the political climate and more, in a fast-paced, interactive panel discussion.
