Meet-up, Make something cool and Learn how the web works.

Do you want to peel back the covers and learn how a website or service works? Do you want to spend the afternoon with other curious people like yourself and build a website, app, or game?

Inspired by Mozilla's Summer of Code Party, we're hosting a fun afternoon at Wildwood's campus in Culver City for kids and youth aged 5-18 and their Parents/Guardians to learn how to use web tools and programming languages.

Bring your laptop and be prepared to have a super fun time. *

Kids as young as 5 will learn how to program using Scratch (fun for all ages). Older kids and parents can also learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ruby, how to make a video and upload it to YouTube, you name it. Just bring your imagination, questions and thinking cap.

We're hosting this on a Saturday because we want parents and guardians to come too. Kids under 13 must have their parent/guardian present. If you are 13 or older and your parent/guardian can't make it, then we'll need their consent for you to hang out.**

Our coaches are amazing. They hail from local tech startups, the LA Robotics Club, progressive schools, women's tech groups, Crashspace, Film & TV Studios and many more.
