Grupo de Teatro SINERGIA and Teatro FRIDA KAHLO present SOLDADERAS, written and directed by Rubén Amavizca-Murúa, the creator of Frida Kahlo and The Women of Juarez.
In SOLDADERAS, four women, who fought in the Mexican Revolution, get together to claim their role in the biggest civil war in Mexico. Their struggle to find recognition cast a new light into the participation and position of women in our history and society. Their stories, from funny to harrowing make us understand that without women the Mexican revolution would not have succeeded.
