The Downtown Long Beach Associates' 4th Annual Latin American Parade & Festival presented by WalMart returns to the streets of Downtown Long Beach on September 8th. This year, we anticipate spirited parade participants, a dozen live performances and more than 40 vendor booths. Don't miss the fun!
The Parade takes from from 3pm – 3:30pm and kicks off on Pine Avenue at 6th Street. The Festival will take place at 4th Street and The Promenade from 3-9:00PM.
Don't miss out on this incredible celebration of Latin American culture – one of the biggest in Southern California. The vendor area will feature hand-made clothing and original artwork, interactive opportunities, health & wellness information and authentic Latin American Cuisine. Live music from Latin Grammy performers and more, such as: Ricardo Duque, Sonoclip, La Charanga Cubana, El Presidente, La Santa Cecilia and Very Be Careful.
There will be dance performances that take place throughout the day on two stages and a children's activity area will feature a variety of activities to keep the kids entertained. Beer and wine garden for the adults!! Oh...and Raq-C from Latino 96.3 will be there to emcee the festival, so you know it's going to be a great time!!
