After completing her education in New York with a bachelor's degree in Theatre, Dance, and Musical Arts, Estani has continued to evolve and transcend over many musical genres. While having a strong hold on the local music scene of Top 40, R&B, and Pop, she has also maintained a strong foundation in her love and performance of latin music to stay true to her roots.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, Estani quickly became the lead singer for the skafrocuban jazz band, Yeska, and was invited to perform at the annual Montreal Latin Jazz Festival in Canada.
She has also lent her vocal talents to the annual Jerry Lewis Telethon, Fiesta Broadway, back-up vocalist on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and opened for the grammy award winning congero Poncho Sanchez, salsa legend El Canario, and the Latin male quartet, Son By Four.
Estani has performed duets alongside major Latin artists such as Joan Sebastian and Flaco Jimenez.
After writing, producing, and touring with her debut CD, Mariposa, Estani is back in Los Angeles with her salsa band once again, La Ascension, to bring back the old school salseras of the 60's and 70's, while infusing the modern r&b salsa sound of today. Added original bonus material written by Estani Y La Ascension also enhances the high-energy impact this diverse band provides.
