The Avenue 50 Studio is proud to present Variations on a Theme/Variaciones Sobre el Mismo Tema, an installation brought to us by Tijuana artists Antonio Escalante and Silvia Galindo. Escalante and Galindo, living life on the Tijuana border raise questions regarding the violence that has gripped their City.
As they've seen their City turn toward violence, Escalante and Galindo ask, "What is our country exporting? It used to be a great place to visit and buy curios, but now Mexico sells violence."
Please join Antonio Escalante and Silvia Galindo as they present their portrait of the violent product Mexico is current exporting.
