Artists for Obama in partnership with Women for Obama will host an extraordinary and affordable art auction fundraiser to benefit President Obama's 2012 re-election campaign. Over 30 acclaimed artists including Artis Lane, Chaz Guest, Synthia Saint James, Howard Bingham, Jose Ramirez and many more, have donated their work for this public auction.
The event will include appetizers, entertainment and cocktails in the historic Track 16 Gallery – one of the last events to take place before the gallery closes and reopens as a functional train station when the Expo Line comes to Santa Monica.
Tickets for this event are $100 per person and include appetizers, cocktails, and a gift bag. Additionally, $300 VIP tickets are available and include an art auction preview, private pre-reception with the artists, and a premiere gift bag.
Notable artists such as Chaz Guest, whose Thurgood Marshall painting hangs in the White House oval office, said he is "inspired" knowing that this country is led by one of our smartest men. She said, "Therefore, there will be one hundred dollar pieces, and ten thousand dollar pieces.
