LA Premiere of Death of a Clock
A dance film which explores the emotional crises brought by separation and loss.
The work operates from a construction of three Dance pieces on video, as the filmmaker finds a poetic lyricism that expresses his personal narrative of depression, passion, resignation and acceptance.
Inspired by a broad array of corporeal works from Maya Deren's "Very Eye of Night" to Roman Polanski's "Bitter Moon" to 1980's dance oriented music videos.
