The Recording Academy's Board of Trustees has reinstated the Best Latin Jazz Album category for the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards taking place on February 10th, 2013. The Best Latin Pop, Rock or Urban Album category will also be split into two categories: Best Latin Pop Album and Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album. Best Banda or Norteño Album and Best Regional Mexican or Tejano Album are now merged into the Best Regional Mexican Music Album (including Tejano) category.
