Pepe Aguilar received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame right by his father Antonio Aguilar's star.

U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte took home the gold medal for the 400-meter individual medley at the London games. Lochte's mom is Cuban.

Larry Hernandez' performance in Las Vegas as part of Freemont Street Experience and mun2 "Descarga" series, in partnership with KBLR-Telemundo Las Vegas, was the largest attended Latin music concert on Freemont Street with over 10,000 fans.

Brazilian bronze-medal winner Felipe Kitadai will be given a new bronze medal for his win in the 60-kg judo competition after dropping his medal in the shower and denting it.

"Encanto del Caribe" will begin airing on public TV stations across the country on August 1st and will release on CD/DVD on August 21st. The TV special features Arthur Hanlon with Marc Anthony, Laura Pausini, Bernie Williams, Cheo Feliciano and more in a live concert filmed at Puerto Rico's Castillo de San Cristobal.

Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News will honor Comcast Cable with the award for Leadership in Hispanic Television at the Hispanic Television Summit on October 3rd in New York City.

Telemundo named Pilar Garibotto as Executive Producer of "Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste". Garibotto was previously Executive Producer of Estrella TV's "Alarma TV" at KRCA Channel 62 in Burbank, CA.

HPRA is now accepting entries for the 2012 PRemio Campaign of the Year Awards. The Awards will be announced at the 28th Annual PRemio Awards & Scholarship Gala on October 4th in Los Angeles.
