Halloween & Dia de Los Muertos fall so close together, BROWN folks just have to put 'em together and join the spirits in partying, dancing, living & CELEBRATING LIFE like only WE know how!
Like a lot of grandparents, I'm gonna be walking the streets of Sylmar with my 2 dogs next Thursday, tagging along as my grandkids get there trick or treating done ÔÇª but before that, LatinoLA's & East L.A. Revue Radio's "Fearsome Foursome" is gonna be getting our party-boogie on the week before, like a whole lot of other good folks,
For the 6th week in a row, RAY CARRION & Thee EAST LOS ALL STAR Band have been a LatinoLA's "Editor's Hot Pick" for outstanding entertainment & dancing venue every Thursday at GRINGO'S Caf?® in Montebello (formerly aka as Montebello Inn/ Paloma Room) on Whittier Blvd.
With heavy talent holding such music credentials, as Azteca, El Chicano, TIERRA, Thee Midniters, WAR, Europa, SANTANA, SAPO,Tito Puente & Poncho Sanchez Bands, Sly,Slick & Wicked, plus individual artists such as TeCheetah Lopez, Rocky Padilla, Irma "Cui Cui" Rangel, Victor Orlando, Gilbert Esquivel, and others joining the array of fine music talent every week, this FREE event has provided many music lovers the chance to party & dance to some of the best live music in Aztlan, and they do it again this Thursday for the 7th straight week.
November 16th, all hats are off to them in respect, as ALL the previously mentioned talent will perform in a killer live music extravaganza at GRINGO's that will have Montebello Rockin' till past midnight! THE IMPULSE Band, featuring 3 of the prettiest Latina singers struttin' stage with Chicana attitude, backed up by a killer band led by Dennis Ulibari, takes the stage at City Lights in Hacienda Heights starting at 8:30. For tix & info: 626-369-5522.
Out in the Inland Empire, KUCR FM's Thee Angel Baby hosts the 9th Annual "Cruisin' with the Eagles" Car & Bike show, featuring live entertainment by RU CREW and LATIN FLAIR. The Brotherhood Band, featuring Bobby Martinez, headline a costume bash at the Presidente Restaurant in Northridge out in the San Fernando Valley. Show starts at 9pm.
But the BIG ONE in Aztlan is going to be held at the San Fernando Valley Moose Lodge in Sylmar on this Halloween weekend Saturday night. Hosted by East L.A. Revue Radio's Frankie Firme & Sugarbear, who will also be the House DJ's, Mr. RAY CARRION & Thee EAST LOS ALL STAR Band, will be taking the stage with many surprise invited music guest stars. Delicious $1.00 tacos & other great food provided by EL CAMELEON Catering, door prizes, raffles and a $100.00 best costume prize.
