George Lopez Returns to Television with "Saint George"

Actor and stand-up comedian George Lopez returns to television with the new FX series titled "Saint George", premiering on March 6th. "Saint George" is a celebration of a multi-generational family that humorously wrestles with cultural differences. This half-hour, multi-camera ensemble comedy follows the chaotic life of "George Lopez," a recently divorced working-class Mexican-American turned successful entrepreneur caught between two cultures. The TV show brings together a fantastic cast of talented, familiar faces and favorites from other critically acclaimed television series.

Saint George struggles to balance the parenting demands of his All-American Anglo ex-wife, "Mackenzie," played by Jenn Lyon (Justified, Army Wives), and the cultural expectations of his overbearing Mexican-American mother, "Alma", played by Olga Merediz (Orange is the New Black).

s George attempts to relate to his 11-year-old son, his life is further complicated by his fun-loving but freeloading uncle "Tio" and cousin "Junior" played respectively by David Zayas (Dexter) and Danny Trejo (Machete Kills, Breaking Bad). Lopez will share the screen with Jenn Lyon, Danny Trejo, David Zayas and Olga Merediz.

Tune-in to FX on Thursday, March 6th at 9pm to catch the premiere, but until then watch a funny clip of what to expect in the show here: http://youtu.be/WNcqNo5vnKw
