The Community Resource Center (CRC) Liaison is responsible for outreaching, educating, and referring current and prospective Health Net members. The position will provide walk-in customers and callers with health education and coverage information and assistance across all lines of business and product offerings.
The CRC Liaison identifies opportunities for enhancing Health Net's brand, visibility, and reputation in local communities and target markets. This position requires a customer-centric focus by helping diverse community members understand their health care needs and link them to appropriate Health Net representatives and/or government and community entities to obtain health care coverage information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists walk-in customers and callers with their inquiries about Health Net's plans and product offerings and CRC services and connects them to appropriate Health Net departments and/or community resources.
Responsible for opening/closing the CRC on a daily basis and upkeep of the CRC to ensure a safe, informative, and welcoming environment for community residents.
Researches and plans promotional and community health-focused events at the CRC coordinating simple to complex events and projects including but not limited to developing, maintaining, and distributing CRC monthly calendar of community events and/or activities. Identifies, coordinates and confirms schedule and staffing for CRC services.
Tracks and refers walk-in customers and callers to appropriate Health Net representatives and/or departments.
Conducts presentations, workshops and/or classes at the CRC.
Performs project support and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, social sciences, healthcare or related field preferred
Must possess valid State driver's license and insurance coverage if driving a vehicle for company and/or for company business
‘«ů Government Security/Clearance/Citizenship Requirements:
Minimum two years of experience in retail, customer service, and/or related field
Knowledge of health care industry, managed care, and/or government programs preferred
Experience with planning community events and activities and/or health-related events
