Video: Interview with JPL/NASA's Christina Diaz

A 35-minute YouTube video is available for public and classroom viewing to highlight Latinas in the STEM fields. Christina R .Diaz is an engineer in the nation's space exploration program.

As a systems engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory/NASA, Pasadena CA, she is working on the Mars 2020, the new Mars rover.


Christina is a Los Angeles native. She received her Bachelor's and Master's in Aerospace Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2013. Shortly after graduating, she started her career at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA.

Her passions are space exploration and STEM based K-12 outreach.
