Learn How to Make a Traditional Cup of Cuban Coffee in Your Home

If you are one of those people that love Cuban coffee but can't go to Cuba or Miami to enjoy the typical cafecito or café cubano here are some way you can do it in the comfort of your house.

The Cuban-style espresso is a bold flavor espresso that is very easy to make. You just need a stovetop espresso maker, Cuban style coffee, such as the delicious and authentic Latin coffee, Café Bustelo, and sugar.

The first step is to brew the coffee in the stovetop maker and when the coffee just begins to brew, remove it from the heat and put a little bit into a cup and mix it with sugar. Stir it quickly until the coffee melts down the sugar and get the famous espuma or crema that is well-known in the Cuban coffee.

If you don't like it too strong there are other variations like Cortadito, a standard espresso shot topped with steamed milk or the famous Café con leche, which is an espresso served with a cup of hot or steamed milk and both are unsweetened.

If you also want to take that cuban flavor outside of home try Cafe Bustelo single serve packets, where you can enjoy the instant espresso coffee on the go, any time.
