Cuban American Music Festival in #DTLA


Los Angeles-La Plaza de Cultura y Artes has teamed up with Yambu Productions, to present the inaugural Cuban American Music Festival, Saturday, June 4, 2017, from 12-8PM.

In keeping with La Plaza's tradition of promoting Latin culture, the Cuban American Music Festival will showcase traditional Cuban culture with music, art, dance and culinary delicacies.

This highly anticipated festival will take place outdoors at La Plaza de Cultura y Artes, 501 North Main Street. This will mark the first time a Cuban Music Festival will be held in downtown Los Angeles, at the museum.

It will hard to pass up the chance to hear some great music, beautiful weather, mouthwatering food, the ultimate relaxing atmosphere with the Downtown skyline framing the event.

The stellar line-up of musicians performing at the Cuban American Music Festival: Yeni Valdes, former singer with Los Van Van, The Arsenio Rodriguez Project, Rumbankente, La Charanga Cubana, and Changui Majadero. This is yet another reason why you don't want to miss this amazing event.

DJ Guajiro will be manning the soundboards, spinning an eclectic mix of Cuban hits. The festival will also feature traditional Cuban dancers, local Cuban artists displaying their crafts, cigar rolling station, Cuban food and spirits. You can also try your skills at dominoes.

Tickets: $20 General Admission, $40 VIP, these prices are for advance ticket purchases. Tickets, if available, will be sold at the gate at a higher price. The Cuban American Music Festival will bring together the Cuban community, it will also introduce Angelenos to the vast and rich heritage of Cuban culture, and the vibrant Cuban heritage in Greater Los Angeles.
