Eric Diaz, known by the stage name ERIC DISIAC, is a solo recording artist and song writer. Eric was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and was raised in Denver, Colorado, where he attended and graduated from Overland High School.
Inspired by R&B/POP legends, Eric grew up swooning along with his radio. He cultivated his silky-smooth power vocals in his High School choir. Eric's past has molded him into the Artist/Person that he is today, with influences from Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston.
Eric grew up in a Mexican/American Household in which he was faced with many obstacles, not only learning the American way, but also the Latino heritage. Many obstacles he faced growing up were the confusion caused by what Eric calls two different worlds. He was bullied throughout all his young life because of his high pitched voice and his differences in culture. Instead of going through life with a daily pity party, he took the sour lemons and turned them into lemon-aid by placing the pain into his music.
Eric is known for his delivery in mastering the passion behind every song. His passion for music began at the age 9. And by the age of 19, he was performing locally at Venues such as The Fox and The Hound. This is where he won first place for his bold performances in a talent contest. Later he began crafting his talent and auditioned locally for a Spanish TV SHOW called !! TENGO TALENTO MUCHO TALENTO!! which is the Spanish version of AMERICAS GOT TALENT. Eric was then given the opportunity to fly out to Burbank CA. where LIVE Auditions were held. There, he performed ME MUERO by a Spanish band called! LA 5ta ESTACION! and received a YES from all judges.
Eric has recently performed at CASTLEMANS, THE ROXIE THEATER and LA RUMBA in Denver. La Rumba is where he met Puerto Rican singers LOS FULANITOS, and worked with his associates LOS LUNATICOS-EL MALLOR recording. Eric strives and continues to deliver the best performance and heart-felt vocals to his audience regardless of the genre of Music.
Currently Eric Disiac, is creating an album in a specialized genre of music. Some call it Latin Soul and others just call it good music. He will be doing live performances to entertain his fan base in the Rocky Mountain region. Look for Eric Disiac this year.
