Max Uballez was leader and founder of the seminal "Eastside Sound" bands, The Romancers in the '60s and the Latin rock band Macondo in the '70s. Max Uballez produced Land 1000 Dances for Cannibal and The Headhunters.

Max Uballez wrote songs for and co-produced '60s East L.A. groups Cannibal & the Headhunters, The Premiers, The Blendells, The Atlantics, Little Ray, and more. Hear the stories behind the sessions of all these artists.

We talk about and play Max's recordings, as well as recordings by all the above artists. Get a rare glimpse into what was going on behind the scenes of the "Eastside Sound."
