AT&T Contributes to the Education of Veterans

As part of their national Thank Our Heroes initiative, AT&T teamed up with the Veterans Resource Center at Santa Ana College to help support and celebrate student veterans. During the event AT&T made a contribution of $25,000 to the SAC Foundation and the Veterans Resource Center. This is a part of a $500,000 contribution from AT&T that will support veteran organizations across the country this November.

The Veterans Resource Center at Santa Ana College helps students transition from soldiers to scholars. Through the work of the SAC Foundation, grant funds, and collaboration with public and private entities like AT&T, they can assist hundreds of veterans achieve their academic and career goals. The Veterans Resource Center offers transitional counseling, certification of GI Bill benefits, preparation for veterans wanting to attend college, and overall support for current veteran students.

"Thanks to the Veterans Resource Center I no longer feel lost when coming to school. I'm more confident now when I say that I WILL graduate from college," Cirilo Serrano, Hispanic student Veteran at Santa Ana College.

AT&T wants to help support veteran students achieve their educational goals and are committed to continue to support them as well as active duty military personnel and their families.
