Wisin vs. Yandel: Otra Dimension

Wisin & Yandel took Los Angeles by storm this past week during the presentation of their new CD Wisin vs. Yandel: Otra Dimension at the Hard Rock Café Universal City Walk. Thousand waited for hours to get a glimpse of their favorite urban Latin superstars Wisin & Yandel. The Instore established a sales record by selling 1,600 in just two hours.

The scene repeated itself again on the following day, when thousands convened at the Staples Arena to enjoy Wisin & Yandel's first concert at this arena. By 6:00 pm that evening there were absolutely no tickets left, a feat that have only been exceeded by acts like Ricky Martin, Maná, Revelde and Shakira.

As Wisin & Yandel promised, they gave all they had and more. The concert was full of energy. For more than two hours this dynamic duo sang over 30 of their most popular hits, keeping fans on their feet during the entire concert. The show began with an explosion of special effects simulating an asteroid colliding with the planet Earth and in the midst of smoke and fire the duo appeared to the beat of "Ahora Es."

The duo will make a brief stop in Puerto Rico to participate of a historic transmission, two hours of a Wisin & Yandel special that will air on the SBS Network throughout all the network's markets on June 1st. Then they will travel to the Big Apple to film a Mi TRL Show and present their new CD at the Virgin Records Store on Union Square on June 5th. Then, Wisin & Yandel are scheduled to present their concert at the Garden on June 7th and participate in the Puerto Rican Day Parade where they will be the guest artists on the MTV Float on June 8th.

Wisin & Yandel were awarded the Staples Arena Award for obtaining a sell- out at the venue
