Once again, the Marines of the San Fernando Valley Marine Corps League Detachment 1277, and their Veteran brethren of the American Legion, invite everybody to the popular return of their "Friday Night at the Legion" dance parties, featuring live music, food, drink, dancing, and merrymaking , while asking for your support for the Marine Corps League, in their pursuit of honorably discharged Veteran's and community affairs.

This Friday, June 18th, the heavy hitting BAG OF TRICKS Band comes to town, bringing their sizzling brand of rock & roll, R&B, disco, TOP 40, cumbias, and Latin soul dance music for your listening and dancing pleasure.
In the midst of a busy tour, the popular BAG OF TRICKS band have supported many public events throughout the Los Angeles area, successfully headlining last year's massive Veteran's Day Car Show & Concert at Richie Valens Park in Pacoima, and then blowing the East Side crowd away with a killer debut performance at Montebello's Paloma Room on Whittier Boulevard for a successful fundraiser.
Known for crowd pleasing, the BAG OF TRICKS start the party off at 8pm, following happy Hour at the San Fernando American Legion Post 176, 602 Pico St, San Fernando, CA.

And then, Sunday afternoon starting at 3pm, honoring all Fathers on Father's Day, A TODA MADRE (ATM) ,another hard hitting popular San Fernando Valley Chicano Rock band of talented music veteranos made up of former members of RENDEZVOUS, YERBA BUENA, and 818, featuring singer Ernie " El Torpedo" Medina, will take the stage for a dinner-dance-concert supporting the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event .
Again, this lively event features live entertainment, food, dancing, drink, and merrymaking at the San Fernando American Legion Post 176, while asking for YOUR support of a noble and worthy cause.
Becoming known as a "return to the good old days of San Fernando, and honoring our American Veterans from our community", the San Fernando American Legion Post is becoming a hot spot again for the Veteran community, after a brief hiatus and cooling off period, welcoming all Veterans, their family & friends, to a good time & warm atmosphere, offering weekly happy hours every Friday , with occasional live entertainment and karaoke. The hall is also available for rental for private events, with a full service bar, a large kitchen, large dance floor, and elevated stage, offering seating for 150-200 people in an air conditioned comfort.
