New Latin Burlesque Dance Revue at The Conga Room

The Conga Room at L.A. Live announces the premiere of Taxi Dancehall: A Latin Burlesque Revue created, produced and directed by world-famous burlesque choreographer, Ivan Kane of Forty Deuce fame. Taxi Dancehall will commence every other Friday beginning October 1st.

Taxi Dancehall beautifully personifies the seductive "taxi dance" craze of the 20's while at the same time exemplifies modern and edgy burlesque moves. Ivan Kane incorporates many dance styles in the show, ranging from Salsa to Jazz, to Meringue and Afro-Cuban. The sexy dance moves in tune to the hot live percussions to some of today's top music.

"This is an extraordinary combination of dance styles in one show," said CEO Brad Gluckstein. "It's the sexiest show we've ever done here at The Conga Room combining elements of burlesque, dance and percussion."

With shows like Dancing with the Stars and Americas Best Dance Crew making huge waves in the industry, you can get the real deal: real energy, real sex appeal and real spice delivered live right from The Conga Room dance floor. Taxi Dancehall embodies vintage naughtiness along with pulsating rhythms of sultry salsa music that creates a truly astonishing nightly seduction. The featured dancers are not only tantalizing, but also well versed in their technique. Some of the dancers have appeared on various top dance shows such as Dancing with the Stars and Americas Best Dance Crew.

The Conga Room's Taxi Dancehall Revue premieres this Friday, October 1, 2010 at 9pm and will run every other Friday at The Conga Room located downtown at LA Live, 800 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015. Complimentary admission until 10:30pm with RSVP. Call (213) 745-0162 to RSVP.
