Award-winning executive producer Robert Townsend under his V-Studio shingle and Rey Ramsey of One Economy Corporation have joined forces with award winning writer/producer/director Dennis Leoni (Resurrection Blvd.) on a new U.S. Latino dramatic web series titled "Los Americans."
Principal photography begins November 2nd on a drama that tells the journey of a middle class Latino family in Los Angeles as it tackles difficult issues, such as the economy and every day real-life problems that face all families in America, no matter what the race. The series will star Esai Morales (Caprica, Jericho), Lupe Ontiveros (Southland, Family Guy) and Raymond Cruz (The Closer, Breaking Bad).
This is the second series that will be produced under Townsend's V-Studio shingle that will air on www.pic.tv (Public Internet Channel) a division of One Economy. The show will join Townsend's already extremely successful, groundbreaking series "Diary of a Single Mom," that begins airing its third season on November 18, 2010.
