Last weekend 'Travel Tips for Aztlan' (TTFA) premiered new music from Mexico City to our own back yard in Southern California, featuring rising stars that are due to cross borders anytime ranging from rockabilly, surf, to electronic and cumbia.

Los Leopardos a primarily female band who swing to the beat of Rockabilly Mexico City style, Surf Rockabilly Los Elasticos, Silvano Zetina son of Chico Che's guitar player who definitely strayed away from his father's footsteps to progressive electronica, jazz, rock plus established acts like original metal rock star Charly Montana and the clever raucous Jessy Bulbo.

Also, 'TTFA' prides itself on its palpable sense of community in Southern California, showcasing new music by San Diego natives Cumbia Machine a trio comprised of members of B-Side Players & Agua Dulce and Mexico City via New York, now Angelena Fernanda Ulibarri amongst an incredible set list of the night.
